Al-'Asr (Arabic العصر, “The Declining Day, Epoch”) is the 103rd surah of the Quran. It was revealed in Mecca and has 3 verses. It begins in Juz 30 on page 601 of the Medina Mushaf.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

103:1

وَٱلْعَصْرِ

Wal' asr

By (the Token of) Time (through the ages),

103:2

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ

Innal insaana lafee khusr

Verily Man is in loss,

103:3

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ

Il lal lazeena aamanu wa 'amilus saali haati wa tawa saw bil haqqi wa tawa saw bis sabr

Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.
